HISTORY The beginnings of the Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair go back 33 years, when Margaret Rahill, the former Curator of the Charles Allis Art Museum, and Leslie Brockel, a former board member of the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council, came up with an idea for an art fair on the grounds of the museum. The name "Morning Glory" was chosen because the traditional plantings of morning glory vines would be in full bloom in mid-August in the Allis garden areas where the fair was originally staged. The Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair was held at the Charles Allis Art Museum from 1975 to 2001. Click here to see a list of our 2008 exhibitors.
